Pokémon #0078 - Rapidash

"Rapidash live in grasslands, but they can also be seen on mountains and forests. They are known for being brave and prideful, especially the Galarian variant. Rapidash is a very agile Pokémon. It runs at about 150 mphand is capable of traveling an entire region within a day and a half."

So I’m not going… that’s good. All those CP points I have are used up for keeping myself afloat and or invisible. I have no idea how that guy saw me anyway through my camouflage.

Instead of following the rules, Sugar walked up wanting to battle herself. She wouldn’t hurt Roxie but her Pokémon too along with the Judge. There was some mumbling about us being all Ultra Beasts, going through portals and what not. So it’s a possibility we are all labeled as “Pokémon” We definitely aren’t the definition of human that’s for sure.

How the battle went? Roxie flat out lost. Her Pokémon were vastly outnumbered. They may have gotten to Sugar with their poison attacks, but it was a dent in her health. Then the Judge he seemed resistant to poison attacks and caused Koffing and Whirlipede to have an aneurysm (Severe confusion) knowing themselves out.

Originally, the rest of the day was going to include the events which happened right after we beat Roxane. However, it was all just a tour and pointless tutorial dialogue. Zachaire and I suspected the world had already known basic rulesets when the comes to Pokémon and this world.

Instead, have the few photos we took around the Virbank during the tour. The guy was pretty adamant on getting us to the studios as fast as possible.

He favored Sugar more than anyone else here. When he saw her battling he said that grace and control she had over her actions was perfect. She was expressive too.

The Studio is just up ahead.

Photo 1: I had a long weekend and my boss was away on Friday. Slowpokes and Piplup were able to sleep in relaxed until an unexpected earthquake occurred! 😳 We are doing okay, and my friends and I have been laughing and making jokes about it. Earthquakes are rare in the New York Metro Area / Tri-State Area. The last time I experienced an earthquake was in 2011 when Virginia state had one, and it was felt in New York too.

This is where I post about Blood on the Clocktower! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy your stay.

I run a series called Script-A-Day here, where I highlight custom BotC scripts I think are novel and interesting! You can find the introduction post Script-A-Day #0 here, and a collection of all the scripts I've highlighted that are in the BotC Scripts database here. It used to update daily, but you run out of good scripts quickly that way. It updates weekly on Fridays!

I'm pretty new to the whole tumblr thing, all things considered, so this is also something of an experiment. My inbox is open: if you've got a question or request, please go ahead and shoot me a message! I haven't seen a lot of dedicated Clocktower posts here on tumblr, so I'm doing my part to interface with a community of people who enjoy the greatest social deduction game ever.

I've been in the BotC community since April of 2023 after getting introduced by a friend who brought the game back with him from college over spring break. I've been hooked since then!

Online, I mainly haunt the Unofficial BotC Discord Server, where I've attained the status of Community-Endorsed Storyteller for both live voice and asynchronous text games.

In-person, I'm involved with running a couple of IRL groups of friends that I helped introduce to Clocktower. We get up to shenanigans: if I ever mention the Philo-Steward incident, that's where it originated.

I play a lot of non-Clocktower games, too, and might post/rb posts about them:

Board games: Spirit Island and Power Grid are among my favorites, but I generally enjoy strategy games!

Video games: The Binding of Isaac (duh), Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling, and Baba Is You are all up there. I really just enjoy anything with a good soundtrack. Well, and Pokémon Showdown.

Ponyta are relatively lightweight for their size, as they have extraordinary jumping abilities. However, a newborn Ponyta is a weak runner and is actually barely able to stand. It gradually strengthens its legs and becomes faster by chasing after its parents."

Blog Introduction

Hello! This blog is a series of rendered gifs of the idle animations from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The animations themselves are made by Creatures Inc; I am just providing renders since they aren't available elsewhere online!

My goal is to update daily, in semi-natdex order (doing all evolutions of a Pokémon before moving onto next entry)! Most model changes such as regional variants or gender differences will also be included in their own posts. Shinies are not posted at this time.

Most animations will be posted in order of Default Wait, Battle Wait, Default Idle 1, Default Idle 2, though there is some variation — some species don't have a unique Battle Wait, some have separate animations for swimming/flying/floating/etc., and so on.

Note these models were originally animated at 60fps, but .gif files can only be played at 50fps in browsers. Expect them to be slightly slower than in-game!
